Driving along the highway.

Passed a fire truck this morning soaking down the smoldering remains of what used to be a car. Didn't look like there were any injuries. I've always wondered just how much maintenance you have to skip for your car to spontaneously combust.

That wasn't as weird as Friday night though.

Ah, God bless the news media. Ranking well below a bunch of inane emails from the media's favorite punching bag/martyr and text messages from the world's worst train engineer, but well above the damage and lives lost in recent hurricanes was this little gem.

Damn, the Cards scared me for a few days. I have to give Houston a lot of credit for the season they had. It's sad to see such a spirited team end their season. But Go Cards!!!

The lady that sits behind me at work came from Houston. She's been a bit obnoxious during this series. I just saw a few coworkers stop by her desk and leave messages all over her desk and whiteboard with little jabs.
